A list of specified report templates, not obtainable from the extract actions on other screens, have been listed here. View Report feeds available.

These report templates can be saved locally and refreshed as often as you wish to reflect the latest data available in your Varibill account.

Please note, if a new version of this report is made available on Varibill, it will not automatically replace local copies of reports.

Using Report Templates with Office 2013 or earlier

Downloading Report Templates using Internet Explorer

When using Internet Explorer, the report template must be saved before opening.

Using Reports

Select and download the report template you wish to extract.

When prompted, select "Enable Editing".

When prompted, select "Enable Content".

Configure the report based on the instructions on the Parameters sheet of each report template.

Refresh Data every time you change report Parameters or when reports must be updated to reflect your Varibill account data.

When prompted, select "Basic" and log in with your Varibill username and password, and select "Connect". This needs to be done once when first using Varibill reports, or once your Varibill username and / or password is changed.

When prompted, select "Public" for both the current workbook privacy level and the connection privacy level and select "Save".

Trouble Shooting Tips

Changing privacy levels to Public

  1. Office 2013 or earlier

      2. Select Data Source Settings,
      3. Select Data Sources in Current Workbook,
      4. Select Current Workbook,
      5. Select Edit Permissions,
      6. Select Public,
      7. Select Ok
    2. Of the Current API connection

  2. Office 2016
    1. Of the Current Workbook

Changing your Username and password

    8. Select Save,

Username and Password Error

  1. Couldn't Authenticate Credentials
  2. This will occur if the username, password and connection URL combination doesn't match an active user on your Varibill account. Please retry and ensure all the credentials entered are correct and matches the credentials with which you log into your Varibill account.
